About APR
About Puerto Rico… (APR) is a project birthed out of the current status of Puerto Rico and its need for self-autonomy. APR aligns itself with Puerto Rico for the need to exist in a way that allows us to make clear decisions that will support it and help it continually move forward for generations.
The last 50 times the United States took over land and islands, has resulted in colonization and persecution in all forms. We have an opportunity to look at things differently and start a new chapter in Puerto Rico’s colonial history. What the United States has been doing over the last 400+ years/50 states has not worked. The history of Puerto Rico and the United States speaks for itself.
We hope that APR will help Puerto Ricans by providing a network to support the best outcome.

The goal of About Puerto Rico is to inform and build a network of resources that will continually support and strengthen Puerto Rico.
We are a small, grassroots organization working to inform politicians, the news media, and those who would help spotlight our cause about what we want as a country.

This is the perfect time to showcase Puerto Rico. Allow Puerto Rico to be the example of what it means to use renewable energy for our homes, transportation, and businesses without ignoring our humanity. In doing so, we will create additional jobs. Renewable energy will also support communities, seniors, and critical services with minimal downtime after a natural disaster.
Because of COVID-19, the tourism industry in Puerto Rico is struggling, but Puerto Rico is creating incredible long-term solutions to support our economy. These new opportunities mentioned above will help to support Puerto Rico far into the future.
Any funds raised will be used to maintain our website, social media platforms, inform the community via town hall meetings and mailings and continue to establish relationships with anyone who has a genuine, vested interest in moving Puerto Rico forward by creating and developing a network of resources as well.
